Hello, John VE7CUU here. I have been a ham since 1965 and a lot has changed over the years.
For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in electricity and radios. Before I
was a ham, I always had the old family tube radio apart to "tune it up" and see
what was inside. I now own several basic radios and handhelds. One can never have too many
radios! Ham radio is a great hobby. As my ham friends all hike and ski, we are able to keep
in touch while in the mountains. Below are some of the locations we have enjoyed while
operating amateur radio in the hills. |
